This month, Spain We Pray For You marches took place in cities all throughout Spain. The theme was ‘peacemakers’ and hundreds of people prayed for the welfare of their country. By organizing these marches, the initiative aims to promote prayer and unite evangelical people through a joint celebration.
After the absence of a physical event for several years, this year’s marches took place in the most important cities of Spain with the biggest march held in Madrid. This particular march was attended by around 1500 people, ending with prayer on Plaza de Cibeles in downtown Madrid.
The heat did not stop the people from walking these marches. During the marches, there was a positive and festive atmosphere, accompanied by music, fellowship, messages, and prayer. The marches were held in capital cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Ávila, Cantabria and Jaén, among others.
The Spain We Pray For You marches are expected to take place again next year, on June 10, 2023. In the meantime, people are motivated to pray for Spain and the following year’s march through the initiative’s social media.
