Jewish archaeologist Jennifer Guetta who grew up in the Netherlands got into demonic Jewish mysticism so deep that she was heavily attacked by demons every night. No counselor or psychiatrist could help her. Then she encountered Jesus Who showed her the truth and set her free. Jennifer shares her powerful testimony on Sid Roth’s show It’s Supernatural.
Jennifer Guetta grew up in the Netherlands, but when she was 9, her parents divorced, her mother remarried and they moved to the United States. When Jennifer was 11, they all became Christians. Jennifer wanted to find out the truth behind the Bible and moved back to the Netherlands at age 17 where she started studying biblical archaeology.
“During that time at the university I slowly got involved in biblical criticism. I actually lost my faith completely because of biblical criticism, theology and all the things we were learning”, she shares. Later on Jennifer meets an Israeli husband in the Netherlands and together they move to Israel where they enjoy life. Until all of a sudden in September 2012 they meet a lady named Lily.
Secrets of cabala
“We met the great granddaughter of one of the greatest cabalists for one day and we invited her for one day into our house. We thought it was amazing to meet someone like that”, Jennifer continues. “Cabala is not a religion, but an intellectual teaching about the spirit realm, originally based on the Torah and the Bible, but it came out of Babylon. Later on it was transformed by the rabbi’s. In these times it is combined with Hinduism and Buddhism. Cabala in Hebrew means to receive; you receive ‘secrets of the spirit realm’. We were taught by one of the greatest kabbalists in Israel. The secret is: you get permission and then you’ll learn the wrong side.
The first thing Lily said when she arrived at my doorway, was: ‘Do I have permission to be here?’ I thought: ‘Wow, nice people’. We are scientists and were very naive, we didn’t believe in the spirit realm. We thought evil was just relative. Lily came teaching the secrets of cabala.
When she entered the house, we asked her about the secrets that she was talking about and instead of secrets, she started putting cards on the table and connected people to their cards. Then she went through my house and asked permission for every little thing: the washing machine, the telephone, etc. It was like an out loud permission. I thought: this is weird.
She stayed in my house for three months and it was a very hard time. We found out later it was very demonic. Strange things started to happen. In the beginning it was all about love, but at a certain point she started manifesting and reacting strangely. One time I mentioned the Name of Jesus and that moment something erupted in her and she freaked out. I know now it was a demon manifesting.”
Phone call
Then all of a sudden Jennifer receives a phone call from her sister in America. “My sister had a dream and she called us. She said she knew the name of the people and said: ‘They are not who they say they are. Get them out of your house’. She continued: ‘But don’t worry, because you’re going to write a book and you’re going to make Jesus’ Name famous in the future, because that’s what I dreamt’. I thought: no way.
After that a lot of scary things happened and the Lord opened my vision in the spirit realm where I had dreams and could see what was going on. He showed me in a dream that Lily was possessed by a principality that was ruling over other demons. My husband could see in the spirit realm and he saw a dark figure around her all the time, but we didn’t know how to get rid of her. Finally, because of the dreams, I had the courage to get her out of the house and we found her another place to go.
Fighting principalities
However, after the lady left, the real problem started, Jennifer recalls. “She attacked us spiritually. She had permission over everything, she had put all her cards throughout our house. Each one was a magnet for different demons. The week after she left we were attacked by a supernatural force. We were literally fighting principalities and we didn’t know anything about Jesus. We literally felt Lily coming back, but we didn’t see her. We didn’t know what to do. She attacked us from all sides.”
Jennifer and her husband try everything to get free. “Somebody told us: ‘You have to cast these demons out in the Name of Jesus’. We were like: ‘You’ve got to be kidding’. But we were desperate; we were not sleeping at night, because we were attacked every night. Finally we realized we needed to break the permissions. We wrote out a contract, put down the name of the people involved and broke every permission. We covered everything Lily had asked permission for.
The moment we mentioned His Name, everything changed.”
We wrote it out and at 12 ‘o clock at night we read it out loud and signed it in the Name of the God of Israel and in the Name of Jesus. We thought: in the Name of Jesus – just in case. The moment we mentioned His Name, everything changed. We called upon Him and the demons were stopped. They couldn’t attack us anymore from the inside. And we were in awe, going: ‘Who is Jesus, how come demons listen to Him. Is He alive?’
At that point we realized that Jesus really rose from the dead and we realized the truth of Colossians 2:14 where He blotted out the handwriting that was against us, that He paid for it with His blood and nailed it to the cross and that because of that, the permissions were broken.
The moment we called upon Jesus, the difference was that we were also no longer alone. It took a long time for us to get out of this whole thing, it wasn’t immediate. But Jesus came with His hosts of angels and started protecting us, helping us and teaching us what to do.”
