Inspired by a prophecy from 1967 by Jean Darnall (an American pastor, known for her prophetic prayer ministry), Revive Scotland did a revival tour in seven locations throughout Northern Scotland this summer. In the prophecy Darnall saw revival fires lit from the top of Scotland to the bottom.
“We are going from north of Scotland to south of Scotland doing a revival tour”, the Revive Scotland team wrote on their website. “That it would be something resembling what was prophesied by Jean Darnell and what Rob McArthur sensed the Lord saying in his dream (see the video below the article to hear from Rob).
We are so excited to take a mobile stage and do open-air events sharing the love of Jesus across this amazing nation. We are believing that through this and other evangelism outreaches in Scotland we will see fires fanned into flame!
One of the other key visions is to see churches across this nation unified and evangelists equipped and empowered to be all that God has called them to be in these days. Our goal will be to share the love of Jesus and encourage people we speak to and connect them to the body of Christ.”
Incredible summer
This final weekend of the Revival Tour the team of Revive Scotland testified on their Facebookpage that more than 200 “souls were saved for eternity”. They said they had been praying for this revival tour for twelve years.
The evangelistic outreaches and services were held seven weeks in a row. The first week in Elgin, then in Thurso, the third week at the Isle of Lewis, then in Tain, Fraserburgh , Aberdeen and last Saturday the tour ended in Banff.
“What an incredible summer it has been seeing God move throughout this nation”, the team remarked on Facebook. “But we aren’t satisfied yet… Stay tuned for details on how to be involved next summer. There’s more to come!”
