Saturday night church family Igniting Ireland organized an event in Armagh, Northern Ireland where especially young people could come together to worship Jesus. “This generation is searching for truth like never before”, Igniting Ireland wrote on their Facebook page.
“We know that truth is a person, and that person‘s name is Jesus. Our prayer for Gen Z is that they would have encounters with Jesus and that His voice would establish eternal truths in their lives and that whatever narrative this world tries to throw at them, they would be unashamed and bold in declaring the Word of God – the truth that ultimately brings freedom.”
Focus on Jesus
Igniting Ireland describes themselves on their website as a “family of believers” whose vision it is “to see the island of Ireland both North and South won over for Jesus”. They see it as their greatest honour to worship God.
One of the things they are passionate about is facilitate worship nights with a simple focus on Jesus alone. “It is in these times ‘as He inhabits our praise’ that we are drawn to deeper levels of accessing His heart and are forever left changed.”
