Micha Harfouche is an American missionary in Ukraine and updates her followers on Instagram about the situation in Limon Ukraine, where she has been bringing food and preaching the gospel.
‘There is a great need for food right now in the city. People are very anxious and worry if they have something to eat. A woman immediately bursted into tears when we said there was no food anymore’ The organizations that go into the areas around Limon don’t stop everywhere, which means that a lot of people are with nothing to eat.
It isn’t easy to come into the city for Micha and her team, the drive takes about six hours. Also, there isn’t enough food to feed all the people in need. They drive about six hours and see their van get emptied very quickly. After the update videos she shares something to give people a frontline perspective:
‘Also, besides this, there is a greater level of attacks all over Ukraine, and targeted at civilians. Some say today was the worst since the beginning of the war: This is terrorism. I’m so angry at the things I’ve witnessed here. In a way I wish the rest of the world could see the pain that people have to experience for nothing. For the selfishness and love of power of another nation. It’s evil. It’s pure evil. Micha asks her followers to pray for a resolve for this great need and for hearts to be restored.’
